Destinations & Schedules: the connection¶
Two records that describe the same trip from two angles. Read this once and the pairing stops tripping you up.
The Destination is "where and the headline dates." The Schedule is "the day-by-day plan." They are tied together two ways, and both must agree.
1. The three labels¶
Same Academy, same Quarter, same Academic Year. This is what lands them on the right academy page, in the right section. (See Rule 2.)
2. The direct link¶
The Connected Schedules box on the Destination, and the mirror Connected Destinations box on the Schedule, wire the two specific records together. This is what lets a Destination page show its Schedule's events.
If one shows and the other doesn't
Almost always a mismatch in one of the three labels or in the status. Open both records and make the pair match. When they agree, both appear.
